Dental road crew

is a team of dental professionals that travels with portable dental equipment to schools, rehabilitation centers, juvenile detention centers and other social service agencies to provide dental services to students and clients. In 2022, the DRC served 2,163 men, women and children.

Discounted Dental Services

provides the care individuals need at an affordable cost. Our goal is to impact the lives of the underserved and underinsured through creating a place that makes dental care possible.

The staff consists of a dentist, dental assistants, and a dental hygienist.  The DRC travels to schools, rehab centers, and other social agencies to provide dental care to students and clients. The Dental Portable Team and School Mobile Services provide comprehensive dental treatment for men, women, and children in Greater Cincinnati.  The children are seen during the school day, thereby reducing the time the students are out of the classroom.  When students show signs of extensive disease, the DRC contacts parents and refer them to low-cost programs in their area or our dental center. In 2022, more than 2,000 low-income children were treated.

The children receive the necessary dental treatment to keep them out of pain and in school. instruction on dental hygiene is provided and students receive a Free dental care kit.

CincySmiles' Oral Health Care Workforce Development program addresses the shortage of dental professionals in underserved areas of Greater Cincinnati by training individuals to be dental assistants.

CincySmiles provides students with the skills they need to move out of poverty, establish a career path and secure employment in the oral health industry. Students will leave the program qualified to garner a salary of $35,000 to $40,000 annually with the ability to grow and advance within the profession.
